I’ve been living in my cream Calvin Klein scarf recently because it’s been so chilly! Here are some of my recent pins that focus on the color cream and it’s wintertime appeal:
Pencils | Sweater
Cups | Dress
Cream is the perfect mix of a warm color with cold weather to me. It’s not so pristine, but, rather, loved and used.
What are your cold weather must haves? It just isn’t a perfect winter day without a comfy scarf and a cup of tea for me!
I recently received a custom logo order from Shawn Kiger, a kind and thoughtful youth minister I’ve worked with on a previous occasion. He was looking for a clean and youthful design to represent his new youth group at Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Together we came up with this fun logo identity:
Wright’s Chapel Youth Logo Identity
I am so pleased that we were able to incorporate many different elements into this design to make it stand out! I had a wonderful time working with Shawn to create this great logo identity to enhance his youth group’s branding experience. Thanks for the opportunity to work with you again, Shawn!
Our Winter 2013 Lookbook is finally completed! We worked together for an amazing photo shoot with Style That Talks and Stephanie Elaine Photography. Both of these ladies are extremely talented, and we can’t wait to work with them again!
Here are some of our favorite pictures from the shoot:

Lovely new cards in stock at Rompadomp — great for all occassions!
I’ve been really inspired lately by the beauty of plain colors against the grain of Kraft paper. These are only two of the creations I’ve been working on, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Let me know what you think! xo
I’ve been doing a lot of pinning this week and I wanted to share some of the inspirational photos I’ve been loving with you all! I’ve been really drawn to gold recently, so it’s no surprise that it’s the focus color of these four images. I love the shine and depth that gold can achieve without ever really changing its color, it makes it so versatile and striking.
Leaf | Manicure
Necklace | Card
And on that note, I’ve also added a brand new item to my shop today just in time for winter — a pair of Gold Antler Earrings! Check them out and let me know what you think! They are the perfect combo of Southern rustic and charm :)
Super excited to finally have these in the shop after many photography problems! I have a slight obsession with vintage earrings, and wanted to turn these into hairpins to update their look a bit. They add a touch of vintage flair to even the simplest outfit! Nothing like a one-of-a-kind piece to make you feel extra special.
What do you think of these hairpins? Would you like to see more of them in the shop? Let me know in the comments below!
Some mornings I just don’t think I can make it through the day. When will I have time to design new items for my Etsy store? How will I manage to fit in a run after a nine hour day of mindlessly working on my laptop when my brain and body feel as if they’ve turned to moosh? How can I keep myself from eating all of the cinnamon buns in the kitchen instead of sharing? Why did I decide to be an Art History major when the job market sucks?
You have to keep your eye on the prize, no matter how steep the hill seems to be! Don’t second-guess yourself and trust that you can achieve your goals if you just keep working towards them. My goals for this week are centered primarily on getting my work space organized and researching how to write the perfect press release. And maybe if I have an extra-productive day I will treat myself to an extra cinnamon bun… just not the whole plate!
